Hope Can Be Dangerous Too

randomBetter to know the quick pain of truth than the ongoing pain of a long-held false hope.

Hope is the phenomenon which gives direction to our dreams. Our goals, our ambitions, all have some part of hope in them. It gives us positivity and thrives us to move forward and achieve what we want to achieve. That's why we often hear that hope sustains life.
On certain occasions and times in life, we start hoping for things we know will never happen, things which are unrealistic. Somewhere inside we know we are doing wrong with ourselves, we know we are getting unrealistic and forgetting the difference between a true hope and a false hope. But we keep it going until it reaches a point where hope becomes dangerous for us, where it keeps pulling us backward rather than pushing us to move forward.
When it happens, we must make sure if what we hope for, is realistic or too unrealistic? Are we chasing something which is never bound to happen? False hope keeps dragging us backward, and stops us from progressing. It is dangerous.
Let it loose, and keep moving forward!
To keep false hopes is to prolong misery.
